Gig reveiws

No-one wants to hear a band blow their own trumpets (unless its a ska band in which case you can't complain) so fuck that. Well let other people review our gigs, But still keep ppl in touch with whats been hapening elsewhere.

Rossetta Bar Belfast 10/02/06

Ressurectum

Sage

The Watch

Sorrowfall

This was a gig in memory of Micheál McGonigle who tragically passed on the 16th of January.

The gig began with a band formed specifically for the night, Ressurectum. They played some great acoustic songs along with an amazing cover of The Trooper. The next band to play were a young band with lots of potential, Sage. They played origional tracks along with a couple of covers, including War Pigs by Black Sabbath. Great band to watch out for in the future.

After Sage it was our turn to rock the casbah so to speak, We played through our set and as we came to the last song we played Dearg Doom due to a request, and the crowd seemed to like it......

The Headliners were called Sorrowfall, who before then i hadnt heard of, but....thats what you get for living in Fermanagh. They were unreal. The term "Metal As Feck" i think would be appropriate here, their Songs were fastpaced with an air of Death (the band) about them. I can safely say that they were one of the best bands i have seen, EVER!

Overall the gig was a great success, we thought we'd played well, and we thouroughly enjoyed Sorrowfalls set.  Hopefully if all goes well we'll see them in Enniskillen sometime soon.
